Description

Early 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay farmhouse with U-

plan steading. Limewashed rubble and painted margins

throughout. House has central door and 12-pane sash windows

in outer bays. Originally linking doors to steading in

corners, that to left now a window. West range has 2 tiers of rectangular ventilation openings, east range has large

central cart opening, 2 doors and 2 "arrow-slit" ventilators.

House has later wing to north. Slate roofs throughout.
