Description

Circa 1860. E facing terrace of 3 2-storey gabled houses,
each of single wide bay, with door and 3-light window at
ground, 2-lights at 1st floor. Random rubble laid in courses,
long and short ashlar dressings. Slated canopied entrances
with plank doors; 8 and 12-pane casement windows; decorative
bargeboards with vestiges of apex pendant finials. Coped end
and ridge stacks; slate roofs with projecting eaves.

Statement of Interest

Designed as estate houses for Gordon Castle. Corner site with

Castle Street.

Houses appear on 1st edition OS, 1870.
