Thomas Telford, 1829. 2-storey, 3-bay house; harled, painted
tooled margins. Entrance in single storey porch at east gable;
long single storey extension with crenellated wallhead
at west gable with bellcote at SW angle. Original projecting
rear centre stair well with later lean-too flanking
additions. Mainly 4-pane glazing; corniced end stacks; slate roof.
Former Parliamentary Church Manse. One of two Parliamentary
manse types; similar manses at Hallin and Staffin, Skye, and
Kinloch bervie. Bellcote probably from disused Parliamentary
church.
