Late 18th century; single storey terrace of 5 3-bay houses;
all harled with rendered margins; modern projecting square
timber porches with side entrances mask centre doors. 4-pane
glazing; renewed end and ridge stacks; slate roofs.
No 2; 2 gabled dormers break wallhead in outer bays.
No 6; 2 small modern dormers.

Statement of Interest

Sited on north side of B909 Clephanton village incorporates

name Clephane. Major Clephane was Provost of Nairn in 1765;

his daughter Elizabeth married Hugh Rose, 17th Laird of

Kilravock.
