Description

Later 19th century, east facing single-storey and attic
terrace of 10 3-bay cottages. All harled with tooled
ashlar margins. Each house with centre door and flanking
2-light casement window, each casement with roundheaded 2-light
glazing. Similar roundheaded lights in each double leaf
panelled door, and in single casement gablet dormers in
outer bays of each cottage. End and ridge coped stacks;
mansard slate roof, tiled ridge.

Statement of Interest

Unusual terrace, both for design and complete survival of

original glazing pattern. Does not appear on 1st ed. OS

(1871).
