Description

1838-9 with slightly later wings at W and N. Single storey,
white painted plank and pole cladded shooting lodge, with
symmetrical 3-bay S facing original facade, sheltered by
later verandah S and E supported by rustic timber columns.
Centre entrance in S front with further entrances at N. 12-
pane glazing; rubble ridge and wallhead stacks; piended
slate roofs.

Extensive service range standing to W of lodge not included

in listing.

'A very handsome shooting lodge consisting of eight apartments.....erected 3 or 4 years ago' (1842).
