Hugh Birrell 1850. 2-storey, entrance front on NW facing St
Andrew's Road, 2-storey 3-window stugged ashlar, plain
doorpiece with cornice and cavetto splay, lying panes,
slated.

Statement of Interest

The Tudor-style academy by Robert Hutchison (dated 1836) is

now embedded in modern additions. See NSA v IX p 530 and
