Description

Lintel dated 1749, a two-storey, three-bay house on the corner of Blinkbonny Road and Main Road. Rubble-built with ashlar margins. The south elevation has a central door and 12-pane sashes throughout, moulded eaves cornice, crowstepped gables, coped end chimneystacks and pantile roof. Single rectangular window opening to each level of the east elevation and a small opening in the left gable apex.

Statement of Interest

At the time of listing in 1984, a single-storey outbuilding (attached to the north elevation) was included in this designation. This former outbuilding was re-roofed and a window opening unblocked in around 2004 (Fife Council Planning Portal, reference number 04/02412/ELBC). This outbuilding is now part of the neighbouring property, 1 Main Road (listed at category C, LB2528).

Statutory address and listed building record revised in 2025. Previously listed as 'ARNCROACH VILLAGE BLINKBONNY ROAD/MAIN ROAD CORNER HOUSE'.
