Earlier 19th century, with alterations and additions 1866 Gillespie and Scott of St Andrews, architects. 2-storey asymmetrical farmhouse with Gothic detail. Pinned whinstone rubble with yellow ashlar long and short dressings. West elevation: 3 unequal bays, left bay recessed and lower;
central door behind modern glass conservatory; single window above: bipartites to outer bays (blind at right): all openings pointed. South elevation also has 3 bays, left bay advanced with hoodmoulded, pointed- headed bipartites. Corniced wall-head stacks and piended slate roof.
