Description

Mid 19th century. Symmetrical school, now converted for
domestic use, with wide central gabled porch to S, 2 bays on
either side; lean-to (former shelters) on either gable. Whin
rubble with contrasting red ashlar dressings. Porch has
finialled gable; keystoned windows; modern glazing
throughout; skews run horizontally over skewputts; end
stacks; slate roof, with axial ventilator.
Playground walls to roadside (breached for vehicle access)
have iron railings, good panelled square painted ashlar
piers.
