18th and 19th century buildings with alterations, former
bacon factory and barn, at N and S sides respectively of
steading courtyard, both probably built in 2nd half of 18th
century. All rubble-built with ashlar dressings, roofs mainly
slated.
Barn (beside driveway): rectangular-plan; large archway to
each long wall (blocked at S), 2 tiers narrow slit
ventilators (also mainly blocked) some alterations to
courtyard. Skews with simple moulded skewputts.
Bacon factory: rectangular-plan, with large full-height
slapping to court; interior walls with square recesses for
timbers to suspend bacons.
Farmhouse now much altered, and not included in listing. For

Stone incorporated in barn W gable possibly a re-used cavetto
skewputt.
