Description

Frank C Carruthers of Lockerbie and Dumfries, 1900.
Brick-built terrace of 9 2-bay houses; single storey and
attic with wallhead attic gables; houses mostly arranged with
paired doorways (doors with tall fanlights), 2-light windows
in remaining bays at both levels. Red brick with red ashlar
cills and lintels; slate roofs with red ridging tiles.

Powfoot was founded by Brook of Kinmount as a seaside resort.
