Description

Frank C Carruthers of Lockerbie and Dumfries, 1900.
Brick-built row of 4 identical double villas, each
symmetrically arranged, single storey with paired wallhead
attic gables, bipartites in outer bays. Each house has 3 bays
with central door. Red bricks with red ashlar cills and
lintels, panels below eaves made of terra-cotta tiles;
decorative cornices; skews; corniced end stacks; slate roofs
with red ridging tiles.
Blocks linked by low glazed porches.
