Description

Frank C Carruthers of Lockerbie and Dumfries, circa 1900.
Large extravagant Edwardian seaside terrace. 3 storeys. Red
brick, alternate advanced and recessed bays, gables wide and
narrow with elaborate half-timbering and with balconies.
Subtle composition, various house designs giving irregular
effect, but symmetrical, with inner and outer gables, 2 bays
with ogee roofs. Corniced stacks; slated roofs.
