Dated 1829. Single-storey & attic (2-storey to rear) 3 bays

north. North elevation: pink stugged ashlar (remainder
rubble-built); inner bay slightly advanced and pedimented,
off-centre square porch with block pediments, shouldered door
side elevation; tall, round-headed window above within steep
wall-head pediment;

above (red ashlar) pedimented wall-head dormers to outer
bays added late 19th century. Straight skews; corniced end
stacks; roofed with graded slates. Additional porch adjoins
east gable at basement level; south elevation 3 irregular

Walter Newall who apparently preceded William Burn as estate
architect, produced designs for several farmhouses in 1829
(eg Coshogle, Crairiehill, Castlehill), so he may well have
also designed Carronfoot.
