Gate c. 1740, chamfered segmental arches, straight
skewed gables, slated roof, internal recesses each side
one with seat; rubble-built wall with wall-steps: a few
good 17th 18th century gravestones, mainly Victorian.
Maclaren monument flanked by disengaged R-doric columns,
triglyph frieze.
The present parish church (Greek cross plan, small tower
with pyramid spire, plain gothic) is by David MacGibbon
1858 but is not of special note.
A group. An unusually large well-designed and detailed
parish church for its date.
