Description

Dated 1770 and 1890. Courtyard block of one storey farm
buildings. Rubble walls, droved dressings, angle margins,
moulded eaves, slate roofs with skew gables, corbelled
chimneys to outer gables. Symmetrical south front with
pavilion ends and advanced centre bay, octagonal finial
on incised pedestal (CC 1890) and weathervane over, tall
elliptical carriage arch surmounted by pierced quatrefoil.
Sash windows with raised margins and glazing bars. One
storey plus hayloft ranges behind outer gables, arched
pend on east side with incised keystone (1770 J C and C C).
Walls of north range with fine cross-shaped "arrow slits"
for ventilation.
