Description

Late 19th century. Circular water tank. Squared and snecked sandstone rubble with iron banding as reinforcement. Small opening to S at eaves level. Conical slate roof; rooflight to N now missing.

Statement of Interest

Water towers serving 19th century houses took a variety of forms, often disguised as follies. This tower has a dovecot-like appearance.
