Description

William Adam 1736. Ashlar, 25' square (stucco on north wall) with Ionic Venetian entrance. The mausoleum originally had a stone roof but this leaked and was replaced the a slated pyramid roof (still present) which is truncated at the top with a sculptured urn.

Statement of Interest

According to Reid the last internment was Duke in 1836. The Montrose family lived at Kincardine, sold early in the 19th century.
