Description

Circa 1820. Single-storey and loft A-plan, ashlar fronted
(droved), Raised and advanced 2-window centre with segment
headed windows at 1st. Wings, terminate in square pyramid
roofed pavilions with tripartites and lunette tripartites
over to front, arched coach houses to court. Unusual
quadrant feature in court with proto-doric column.

Statement of Interest

Dupplin Castle demolished 1967. Jacobean, 1828-32, main

block drastically curtailed after 1934 fire.
