Description

Alexander Johnston, 1881. Large aisleless Gothic Revival church. Stugged red sandstone with gable-transepts and semi octagonal apse; square tower broached onto octagonal belfry and stone spire.

Statement of Interest

Place of worship no longer in use as such.

Church commissioned by Peter Carmichael of Arthurstone and constructed at the cost of £10,000.

Church closed in 1986 and converted to house after this date.
