Description

G T Ewing (Crieff) 1881. French Gothic. Dark local snecked rubble, regularly patterned, with free stone dressings. Broad 6-bay rectangle oriented NW and SE with NW gable front and NE tower and spire. Gable front has gabled door of 2 orders, 6-light window of weak yracery above flanked by 4-bays of tall arcading. Diapered apex. Tall buttressed tower and stone spire of good profile with pinnacles and lucarnes. 2-light belfry openings and clock. 2-light windows on flanks. Slated roof. Pair of ornamnetal cast-iron lamp standards flanking approach.
