Late 18th century. 3-bay single storey cottage adjoining lower 2-bay cottage to right, now linked as 1 dwelling. Random rubble, some brick dressings. Door to centre, windows with lying pane glazing flanking, 2 four pane windows to wing at right. Little altered at rear. Red pantiles, brick skews and stacks.
Built circa 1780 as feu from Kinloch of Gilmerton who encouraged the improvement of the village.
