Description

Circa 1840. Terrace of 3 single storey 2-bay estate cottages with attic and pend, in Gothic style. Squared and coursed red sandstone ashlar, moulded surrounds, base course and eaves course. 7-bay; 4-centred doorways flanking 4-centred arched pend, pointed arch windows flanking again further door and window to right. Decorative fanlights with Gothic tracery pattern, and decorative ironwork hinge-brackets. Pointed arch sash and case windows with traceried pattern to upper case. 4 gabled grey stone dormers with small pointed arch windows with intersecting glazing pattern. Many alterations and additions at rear. Red pantiles, grey slated dormers, coped skews; beak skewputts to dormers, ashlar coped end stacks.
