Early 20th century. Former gasworks, now used as vehicle shed. White painted harl to exterior and rendered brick interior. Enlarged door to E gable end. 5 round-arched windows to N elevation with hoodmoulds. 2 similar windows to W gable with blocked window at centre and blind oculus above; brick buttresses. Blank wall to S; doorway blocked. 6-pane glazing to windows. Gables with curvilinear apex, corrugated iron to roof, straight skews. No interior remains of former use.
Mapwork suggests that gasworks moved from a site to the N, on edge of village to this site beside the railway in the early 20th century. No machinery survives, 2 outbuildings remain to N.
