Description

Traditional shieling, one of a large group conentrated in this area which appear to date mostly fromt he 19th century.

Hebridean-type, built into sloping bank; rubble-walled doorway to left on front long-wall, wall-head chimney stack alongside. Turf roof, fenced at wall-head. Free-standing lavatory at rear.
