Mid 19th century. Irregular range, formerly 3 cottages linked to No 1B. Heavily pointed rubble, contrasting painted long and short dressings. Irregular 4-bay S elevation comprises No 1D. Irregular 3-bay E facing elevation forms main front of No 1C. 3 later 19th century canted dormers in S front, 2 at E to 1C. Coped end and ridge stacks; slate

roofs.

FISH SMOKING KILN ABUTTING 1C; vertical weatherboarded fish smoking kiln with ridge louvre, adjoining No 1C.
