Description

Rubble walled burial ground with entrance flanked by simple
square ashlar gate piers with pyramidal caps. Within burial
ground tall square random rubble roofless mausoleum, with
roughly coped wallhead, tall round-headed arch in centre of
south elevation with blind recessed panel above. Within 3
McDonnell tombstones dated 1699, 1832 and 1679, the 2
earliest with fine carved detailing including crests and
coats of arms, signs of immortality, inscriptions etc.
Other interesting and finely carved tombstones within burial
ground.
