Circa 1760, with later alterations and additions. 2-storey
and attic house over raised basement, 3 bays. All harled.
Centre door approached by later 19th century flight steps
oversailing raised basement and masked by later 19th century
gabled porch with doorway flanked by long sidelights and with
bracketted cornice above. Flanking raised ground floor
windows enlarged as bipartites. Later 19th century canted
dormers in outer bays.
At rear, shallow projecting centre stairwell with piended
slate roof. Mainly 2-pane glazing, though some 12-pane
survives at rear. Coped end stacks; slate roof.
Long single storey extension, with end stack, projects at
rear; large slapped garage door.
Sited near former Keppoch Castle, seat of MacDonells of Keppoch. Replaced by house, burnt during '45 rebellion, and that subsequently rebuilt as present dwelling.
