Description

Lodge: probably David Bryce, dated 1868. Single storey,
gabled L-plan lodge with porch infilling and projecting from
SW re-entrant angle. Coursed rubble, tooled ashlar dressings.
Bipartites in south and west gables, and in 2-bay east
elevation. Projecting gabled porch with recessed door under
gabled canopy supported by wooden columns; metal lattice-pane
glazing; centre coped ridge stack; shallow slate roof with
projecting eaves. Pair simple square ashlar gate piers with
shallow pyramidal caps, with pair cast-iron spearhead
carriage gates; piers linked to similar terminal piers by low
coped rubble wall with matching cast-iron spearhead railings.
