Description

Group 15 drystone byre/barns, with horizontally halfed doors

and vented sides, the louvring being mostly of vertically

laid lengtsh of barked but unfinished sections of slender

timber. Corrugated iron replaces form thatching. The greater

number of these byre/barns form a U-plan enclosure with the Duirinish-Drumbuie road closing the open end. Individually

the buildings measure approximately 36' x 18'; some are

joined gable to gable; 1 roofless.
