Description

Late 18th/early 19th century cruck barn; long elevations
east/west. Rubble, rounded corners; off-centre paired
winnowing doorways; wide vents to sides and gable ends, all
but 3 now blocked; remaining 2 open vents louvred.
Currugated iron roof.
Interior: 6 pairs of large and heavy cruck baldes, scarfed at
various heights and with feet embedded in cills or wall
base. Various peg holes, indicating either re-used timbers or
seats for rods/drying racks for hay or corn. External
measurements, 70' x 18'.
