Description

Dated 1868. 2-storey, L-plan building comprising ticket
office and waiting room in ground floor and dwelling in
1st floor; all bullfaced rubble with tooled ashlar
dressings. Gabled wing at east and west elevation;
tripartites in ground and 1st floor, east and mullioned
window in ground floor west. Roof extends as canopy over
L-plan re-entrant angle at west, partially sheltering
platform area, supported by braced wooden columns; also
sweeps over outshot at north. Single barge boarded and
gabled dormer in west and north; corniced end and lateral
stacks; slate roof.
