Circa 1810. 2-storey, 3-bay house, harled with tooled
ashlar dressings; later single storey porch masks centre
door and flanking right window, later wings to rear and
to east gable, all harled with ashlar dressings.
Main house has long/short detailing to windows and angles;
symmetrical fenestration with 12-pane glazing (margin
detailing to front windows). Long/short margined end
stacks; piended slate roof.
Later 19th century, single storey and attic, 3-bay wing
to east gable; centre door; 3 piended dormers rise
through wallhead. End stack; slate roof.
House built by a Mr MacKid, Sheriff. Substitute of
Sutherland, and was new in 1813 when Donald Sage went
there as private tutor.
