Stables and carriage house; later 18th century paired
stables and carriage house, flanking north entrance;
each single storey and attic, L-plan with single storey
and attic, L-plan with single storey bowed bay facing
drive, with centre window and bowed slate roof. All
cherry-pointed ashlar, with polished ashlar dressings.
West block, 3-bay dwelling with 3 round headed dormers
rising through wallhead, and advanced carriage house wing
with 2 tall round-headed carriage house entrances with
round-headed centre dormer. Similar east block contains
3-bay stable wing with centre door, and advanced wing
with paired outer doors and central window; dormers
detailed as before.
12-pane glazing; some round-headed windows with
intersecting astragals; long/short angle detailing; eaves
bands; corniced ridge stacks; lead roofs to dormers;
elsewhere slate roofs.
Pair mirrored early 19th century square, 2-storey, single
bay tower entrance lodges; harl pointed rubble, ashlar
dressings. Corniced and crenellated wallheads; entrances
facing driveway; hoodmoulded windows in ground and 1st
floor in north and south elevations; 8-pane sashes;
single wallhead stack to each.
Later square lodges block outlook of stable/carriage
house bowed bays, which must have formerly served as
lodges.
