Description

Mid 19th century, single storey, 3-bay building, probably
former dwelling house converted for ecclesiastical use. Harl
pointed rubble.
Wide centre door in south (road side) front with double
leaf plank door; flanking windows; 12-pane glazing; round
angles corbelled out to exaggerated point at wallhead angle;
piended slated roof projecting at eaves.
Interior; plank lined simple interior furnished with benches
and Minister's desk.

Ecclesiastical building in use as such. Has served various

church denominations. Unusual example of vernacular building. Incorrectly identified on OS (sh.40. 1;50,000)
