Description

Late 18th century, remodelled earlier 19th century probably incorporating earlier core. 2-storey and attic,

symmetrical south facing 3-bay house, harled. Centre door in

south elevation masked by square porch with shaped blocking

course. Enlarged ground floor windows; later gabletted

dormers in outer bays. Symmetrical rear with centre door

masked by square porch with piended slate roof and side

entrance; symmetrical rear fenestration (except for small

later bathroom window) with centre stair window. Varied

multi-pane glazing; coped end stacks; modern flue at east

gable; slate roof with projecting eaves.

Interior; simple panelled 1st floor drawing room with chimney

piece dated 1740 and initialled RC; fielded panelled window

shutters. Turned balusters to staircase.
