Description

Earlier 19th century. 2 storeys and attic, over basement.
Symmetrical. Ashlar, with polished dressings. Central
recessed 3-centred-arched pend with pilastered jambs, and
fanlight, in architrave, below consoled pediment. Flanked by
wide doors and shop windows all with moulded architraves.
Door to left has fanlight. Continuous band course over ground
floor and moulded cill course to 1st floor. 4 1st floor
windows with original 12-pane glazing in lugged architraves.
Giant outer pilasters support main entablature and blocking
course. Unfortunate central box dormer. End stacks and slate
roof.
