1811, with extensive later additions. Pink harled with
tooled ashlar margins. U-plan, mainly 2-storey. Original
centre block of 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays with projecting
gabled centre bay with centre door masked by later gabled
porch, window above apex occulus; apex stack. Flanking
tripartites at ground and 1st floors; 2 modern dormers.
2-storey, 2 bay wings to north and south gables, each
returning east with irregular single storey and attic, 2
bay wings. Mainly 4-pane glazing; margined and corniced
end stacks; slate roofs.
Some extensions probably date from same period as repair
as advertised in 1832 and 1878 (1878 Matthews and Laurie)
