Description

Early 19th century, 2-storey and attic house over raised
basement, 5 bays. Harled, ashlar margins. Wide advanced outer
bays with corniced tripartites in raised ground floor and
similar small windows with blind outer lights in basement.
Narrow recessed 3 centre bays with corniced centre door
approached by splayed flights of steps with original
decorative cast-iron balustrade; panelled door. Single (later
piended dormer in centre; 4-pane glazing. Later wooden oriel
lighting drawing room in ground floor, west gable; corniced
end and ridge panelled stacks; slate roof. Later 19th century
wing to rear.
