Description

Later 19th century with some later remodelling, rambling

2-storey shooting lodge with south facing 3-bay front and

4-storey drum tower at SW angle. All harled with ashlar

dressings. Advanced and crowstep gabled centre bay with centre

door; moulded and lugged ashlar doorpiece with segmental-headed keystoned pediment; bipartite above. Drumtower with 3 windows

in ground, 1st and 2nd storeys; corbelled ashlar upper stage

with gabled lucarnes, conical bellcast slate roof with finial.

Extensive ranges to rear, linked at square tower by section of

wall; 3-storey white harled tower with ashlar corbelled and

crenellated parapet and corbelled angle bartizan.

4- and 12-pane glazing, coped end stacks; slate roofs.
