Description

Circa 1800. Single-storey gate lodge. Cruciform plan, harled
with contrasting painted tooled ashlar margins. Centre door
in symmetrical 3-bay east elevation (facing driveway) under
deep projecting semi-circular portico formed by bowed piended
swept roof supported by 6 Roman Doric columns. Flanking
pointed headed windows with Y-tracery; square headed window
in south gable; lattice and 4-pane glazing.
Centre ridge stack; bowed and piended slate roof to all
gables.
