Description

1826-31. Symmetrical 2 storey, 3 bay front with contemporary

wing to rear forming T-plan. Harled, painted tooled margins.

Recessed centre door; lying-pane glazing survives in 1st

floor of front (south) elevation and in rear wing; twin

ridge stacks; road eaves; piended slate roof.

Interior; original panelled window shutters and doors, simple chimney-pieces, and pilastered arches in hall and staircase

opening.

Statement of Interest

Farm of Kinnettas leased by Alexander MacGregor from Cromartie

Estate in 1826 House built sometime after that date and

before 1831. (Letter to James Laing from Alexander MacGregor

dated 15 Oct 1831).
