Thomas Telford, 1828. Formerly single storey, mid/later 19th
century heightening of centre 3 bays. 2-storey, 3-bay house
with single storey outer bays; shallow H-plan. All harled
with painted margins. Modern flat roofed, square porch masks
centre door; projecting stairwell to rear with piended roof.
12-pane glazing; corniced end stacks; slate roofs, piended
on outer single storey bays. Drystone garden wall.
Former Parliamentary Manse. Heightening appears to have been
carried out by 1875, as rear stairwell appears on 1st edition
0S (1875).
