The Yarrows and No 3 Russell Street: mid 19th century,
2-storey, 3-bay return elevation to Russell Street. All
coursed rubble tooled margins; continuous lintel band links
ground floor windows and doors at both elevations. 1 blind
1st floor to Russell Street, which has centre door Modern
door and glazing, slate roof.
Nos 4-7 Russell Street abut west gable. Nos 4 and 5:
2-storey 4-bay dwelling with paired centre doors, right
altered to a window, modern 2-pane glazing, slate roof No 7:
3-bay dwelling with additional opening, former door (now
window) inserted between door and right window, some original
12-pane glazing remains, roofless. All coursed rubble and
tooled dressings as No 6; single storey 3-bay former
bakery in court to rear of No 7, modern glazing end and
ridge stacks; slate roofs.
Description updated 1989. Since resurvey 1982, some modern
windows and doors inserted and No 7 has lost its roof.
