Description

W L Carruthers. 1907-8, L plan range; south facing single

storey arm (previously laundry); west facing range

of single storey and attic. Harled with red sandstone ashlar

dressings. Bipartites to 3 bay cottage and to laundry cottage. 5 bargeboarded dormers. Slate roof.

Statement of Interest

Interesting examples of early private garaging. Plans show

stable carriage house and motor house beside cottage and

laundry accommodation. Laundry now converted to dwelling.
