Description

Early 20th century, pobably W.L. Carruthers, small octagonal
single storey henhouse. All white harled with ashlar margins.
Octagonal plan form squared at SE corner with secondary
entrance. Main entrance in north face with moulded margins,
and plank door with hen door set in base; square louvred
windows. Bellcast piended and facetted slate roof with small
shaped and leaded louvred vents; leaded apex supporting
slender weather cock; wallhead stack. Interior; small
intercommunicating chambers; small cast-iron stove.
