Description

A & W Reid, Elgin and Inverness, 1865. Single storey and
attic, symmetrical 3-bay cottage; rubble with tooled rubble
dressings. Slightly advanced and gabled centre bay with
round-headed entrance; plank door with long cast-iron hinges
and semi-circular fanlight above. Flanking wide 3-light
windows; gabled dormers in outer bays; single small ground
floor window in NW return gable; lattice-pane glazing.
Coped end stacks; slate roof with projecting eaves.
Short section coped rubble wall with pair round-headed arches
screens service area at NE gable.
