Plans, estate office, dated 1868. The previous house (Alex
McGill 1715 plans Vit. Scot. with later S.W. wing of c. 1825)
stood lower down in the park. Sketch plans were prepared by
Walker early in 1868 for a matching S.E. wing and porte
cochere but a new house was decided on and the old completely
demolished 1872-3.
