Circa 1800: Symmetrical W facing single storey and loft,
9-bay stable range. Grey rubble, contrasting tooled pink
granite dressings. Slightly advanced and pedimented centre 3
bays with 3 round-headed cartsheds and loft windows over (1
with 8-pane sash window). Flanking 3-bay stables with centre
doors; piended loft entrances break wallhead in N and S
gables; piended slate roof.
INTERIOR: no stable fittings survive.
On site of old Mains farm and probably intended for farm
horses and carts.
